The recent developments in AI, such as the new model introduced claim to revolutionise legal research by instantly listing case laws, referencing old judgements, suggesting legal arguments. So now the question is , if AI can do all this, what will be the role of lawyers, judges and even courts in the future ?

As I always claim that – AIMD : “All Illama Mudiyathuda” ( Not possible without people ) :

Ofcourse AI has made legal research more efficient, super fast. Previously, we have seen in movies that leading advocates would spent whole night in browsing several books, internet, going to library to find additional newpaper cut etc. Now all these can be accomplished in seconds. This will help, enable the lawyers to focus more on strategising rather than spending hours in research.

But legal profession is more than research and citations. AI can assist but not replace humans in
