WHATSAPP FOR MAC SUPPORTS AUDIO AND VIDEO GROUP CALLING

 In Freshers Pakkam

Whatsapp has released a new app for the MAC operating system which was previously available in Beta. It supports up to eight people in group video sessions and up to 32 people in group audio calls.

It has the same end-to -end encryption features which is available in other platforms. In addition to video calling, users can drag and drop files into chats, and the company says the app also shows more chat history.

Now you can join a group call after it’s started, see your call history and can receive incoming call notifications even when the app is closed. The app is redesigned to be familiar to Mac users, helping you get more work done faster when using WhatsApp on a large screen.

Meta promises that it will add the app to the Apple App Store soon. The updated desktop version of WhatsApp is available now for all users on Mac. WhatsApp has started experimenting with multi-device linking to one account, so users can receive messages on any of the four devices even if their phone is not connected to the internet.
